Born twenty years ago in Charlotte, NC, Joshua Michael Woods has become one of the most prominent rising stars of Opelika in the six months since arriving in town. Frequenting The Jailhouse, he can be heard belting out original tunes reminiscent of music past. From Elvis and Sinatra to Cash, Waylon, and Willie, he has the pipes to do it all, with a unique twist that makes him a true frontrunner in the next generation of American music.

Joshua Michael Woods started songwriting when he was 14 years old, and a mere 6 years later he’s considered one of the best young artists of Opelika, with aspirations of making this his career. In the meantime, when Joshua isn’t playing music, he’s serving the community through his day job at Dan Hart Refrigeration, which services local restaurants and businesses, such as Joshua’s favorite coffee shop, Side Track.
