Brett McDaniel

Brett McDaniel is a country/folk/Americana singer/songwriter based out of the Auburn, AL area. He is the son of the late Rick McDaniel who was a well known musician and club owner in the area. Brett started out in the music business as a sound engineer at his father’s nightclub “Osanippa Creek Lodge” and later at the world famous “War Eagle Supper Club”. It was while working at the WESC that he began writing songs and performing them on Sunday nights. In 2021 he released a live album titled “Live Record” at The People’s Room in Mobile, AL. He has had several songs recorded by Taylor Hunnicutt who is currently playing them in some of the most famous venues around the country. He has had the opportunity to open for or play alongside such artists as Adam Hood, Justin Townes Earle, Brent Cobb, Charlie Starr, Barry Waldrep, Rock Killough, Tony Brook, Rick Carter, BB Palmer and many more.
