Grayson Capps is a singer/songwriter born in Opelika, Al. and raised in Brewton, Al.  He went to High School in Fairhope, Al. then moved to New Orleans, La. and graduated with a BFA in Theatre from Tulane University. His first band, House Levellers, spent 3 years touring before breaking up, then Grayson started a more blues oriented group called Stavin’ Chain.  Ruf Records out of Germany picked up the band and brought Grayson to Europe for the first time.  Capps went solo after the birth of his daughter in 2000.  In 2004 his music was featured in a Lion’s Gate movie called “A Love Song for Bobby Long.”  This was a boost in his career that allowed him to play music full time. Grayson, now residing in Fairhope, Al. has 11 studio albums under his belt, has toured relentlessly across the US and Europe and is currently gearing up to get back in the studio to record for his longtime label Royal Potato Family founded by Kevin Calibro.
