OSF KICKOFF DINNER

Celebrate the start of the Opelika Songwriters Festival with a special Kickoff Dinner at John Emerald Distillery on Thursday, March 26. This intimate cocktail dinner features a thoughtfully prepared menu by Chris Wilton and live performances by festival artist IONE, with additional artists to be announced—a perfect way to open the weekend.

SUNDAY MORNING VIP BRUNCH

A signature experience of the Opelika Songwriters Festival, Sunday Brunch & Songs has been a cherished tradition since the festival’s first year. Reserved exclusively for VIP ticket holders, this intimate gathering takes place at the The Bottling Plant Pavilion and features a brunch buffet by Chef Chris Wilton, a Bloody Mary bar by John Emerald Distillery, and featuring festival artists (TBA).

SATURDAY BREAKFAST with the SONGWRITERS AT MARRIOTT GRAND NATIONAL

Start your Saturday morning at the Opelika Songwriters Festival with a delicious buffet breakfast and an intimate live music performance at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa—the official lodging partner of OSF and home to our festival artists.

SATURDAY MORNING SOUND BATH WITH KATIE MARTIN

Start your Saturday with a restorative Sound Bath led by Katie Martin. This immersive experience blends gentle soundscapes and calming vibrations to help you reset and recharge before a full day of music.

The session begins at 8:30 AM on Saturday at FLORA WREN.

SONGWRITERS WORKSHOP

Gain insight into the craft of songwriting at this interactive workshop led by a featured festival artist. Learn about process, inspiration, and technique in an intimate setting designed for songwriters of all levels, as well as fans curious about how songs come to life.

The workshop will be led by Jeff Black on Saturday at 10:00 AM at FLORA WREN.

GUITAR TONE WORKSHOP

Join Grammy Award-winning guitarist Larry Mitchell for an exclusive hands-on workshop focused on the art of guitar tone. Whether you’re a player, student, or simply curious about the craft, Larry will share his expertise on gear, technique, and the subtle details that shape a guitarist’s sound.

The workshop takes place on Saturday at 11:30 AM at FLORA WREN.

VOCAL CARE WORKSHOP

Singers, stop beating up your voice! Join Dr. Philip Snider to learn simple and practical techniques that let you sing and play longer and stronger with less effort. Learn to protect your voice for the long haul—building healthy habits, managing illness and long performances, and choosing throat relief that actually works.
 

This free workshop takes place on Friday at 4 PM at FLORA WREN.

STUDENT SONGWRITER SHOWCASE
